The Hartford Chorale is the area's leading symphonic choir. It was founded in 1972 with a mission to present great choral masterworks to thousands of listeners in southern New England. The chorus currently numbers 180 talented auditioned singers, directed by the esteemed Richard Coffey. Concerts include many performances with the Hartford Symphony Orchestra at The Bushnell.
